After
the File
Scan Utility
completes
a scan, you might find in the Scan Database Table that some or all of the data beneath
the column are shown as "n/a".
You enabled the
"Optimize BA After Loading"
check box, but the BA Mask was disabled (set to
zero). By setting the BA Mask to zero, you're essentially optimizing
all your data. Hence, the "simple" BA Yield, BAYld(S), will
be the same as the optimized yield, BAYld(O). This prevents you from observing
how effective the BA buy and sell tags were placed outside of the optimized
region.
You disabled the
"Optimize BA After Loading"
check box, which forces the file scanner to look in the View
Database for information on any past optimizations. Unless the View Database
has this information for a given stock, it won't be able to calculate a BAYld(O)
value, which means the BAYld(S) to BAYld(O) ratio -- or BAYld(S/O) -- will
be undetermined.
The optimized BA yield -- BAYld(O) -- was less than or equal to zero.
