使用権の定期的な更新と確認 (オンライン更新）License

ITA(イタ)の使用権は、原則として一ユーザー当たり一台のパソコンに対し与えられます。ユーザーの希望により､携帯用､あるいはバックアップ用のパソコンに対しても使用権を求める場合には､その旨を申し出ていただきますと、「同時使用は一台に限り」使用権が与えられます。
この使用権の許諾条件がユーザーにより誠実に守られていことを検証するために､本社サーバーよりオンラインにて下記の画像のようなお知らせをプログラムをスタートする際に定期的に行い､使用権を更新するようになりました。
なお、このためにはインターネット接続が可能であることが必要です。ユーザーは必ず､インターネットを導入し､必要に応じて(常時接続の必要はありません)稼動､接続してください。
このウインドウ内の、最上段のボタンを選択すると､使用権の更新は自動的に行われます。なお､将来の一定期間ごとに同様の更新を行われるよう､このような連絡が入ります。
二番目のボタンを押すと､インターネット上の本社ページ経由で、手入力により更新を行うことが出来ます。これは、前記の自動更新が､本社サーバーからの信号によるため、セキュリティーの関係から､ユーザーのパソコンがファイアウォ‐ル防護を備えていて、更新が出来ない場合など､ユーザーの希望により選択していただくものです。 なお、この場合には､入力に必要なパスコードを取得し､手入力していただきます。
なお、ＩＴＡ(イタ）ソフトウェアのインストールは､必ずＣＤより行ってください。この際､ユーザーのパソコンの機器情報が本社サーバーに送信され､使用権が将来に亘って管理されるようになります。

Insider
TA has a built-in security feature to help ensure that only registered users
have access to the software. We know, this is unfortunate, but with the
vastness of the internet and lack of any enforcement, there arose the inevitable
scenario where unauthorized copies were being distributed. So, for your
own protection as well as ours, we had no other options but to implement
this mechanism. Therefore, all users of Insider TA Version 5.4 Professional
and Standard versions are required to periodically validate their single
user license.
This simple operation, which we refer to as "checking-in",
requires an Internet connection to complete.
Checking-in
also provides a means for you to update Insider TA to the latest build using
the integrated Internet Update facility.
Q: Does that
mean I always have to be online to use Insider TA?
A: No. An
online connection is only necessary when Insider TA requests a license check-in
be performed.
Q: How long
does a check-in take?
A: A few
seconds (as long as it takes to access a web site).
Q: How often
will I have to check in?
A: It varies,
depending on a variety of conditions. For instance, we expect Insider TA
to be installed only on a single machine, in which case a check-in will
be required 4 times per year (approximately). But if your license agreement
with us permits additional installations, more installations trigger more
frequent check-ins.
Q: Am I
required to check-in at this interval even if I don't anticipate using Insider
TA over an extended time period?
A: No. But
when you eventually use Insider TA (after this extended time period), you
will have to perform a check-in. Note that this process will also give
you access to Insider TA's Internet Update utility. There's always a
chance that the software has been enhanced since you last used it, and we
wouldn't want you to miss the improvements!
Typically,
Insider TA will know when the next check-in is required and notify you ahead
of time. This grace period ensures you are never caught off guard on the
last possible day (after which, the software will refuse to load unless
you do a check-in first). When a check-in requirement is imminent, the
following window will be displayed:
As shown above, there are two options available:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do
not attempt to manually copy Insider TA program files to another computer
without using the supplied CD Package and Key File Disk! This "back
door" method of installing Insider TA will inevitably lock-out your
original installation from checking in successfully. This may invalidate
your license, and it will be difficult to get Insider TA back to running
properly again.
Q: What if
someone else inadvertently installs my copy of Insider TA on their machine?
A: Then when
that person checks-in with Insider TA (a requirement upon installing), they
will "steal" your legitimate site license away from you. In other
words, one of your computers will be blocked from ever using Insider TA
again. Additional checks-and-balances within the code may also disallow
both legitimate and non-legitimate sites from checking-in successfully.
The
bottom line is...
Install
Insider TA on only the number of computers permitted by our Single
User License Agreement,
and then put your CD and Key File Disk in a secure place. Insider TA will
then operate reliably for you.
