情報削除はThe ビュー･データベース･ウインドウ View Database Window の「削除（"Clean"）」機能で行ないますが、この機能には二種類のモードがあります。
1) 不要な ビュー･データベース View
Database の情報を削除する
2) 特定のビューを削除する Delete
specific view(s)
このうち、１）を選択すると、下図のメニューが表示されます。この選択は、不要な「データファイルに関する情報」を削除するだけであり、「データファイルそのもの」は一切影響を受けません。
●Delete entries whose targeted data file no longer exists: データファイルがすでに存在しないが、データファイル情報が残っている場合
データファイルがＣＤ－ＲＯＭ等の外部メディアに保存されている場合も対象になりますから、注意が必要です。
●Delete Views by Path: パスによる削除
ファイル･パス（フォルダー）を指定して、その中のデータファイルに関する「情報」のみを削除する方法。これをクリックするとフォルダーを入力するウインドウが表示されます。
●Delete Views for Files Older than MM/DD/YY: 日付による削除
指定する日付以前のデータファイルに関する「情報」のみを削除。 カレンダー･パネル Calendar Panel が表われますから、カレンダー上で日付をクリックします。
●Delete View entries By Data Source: データ･タイプ（形式）による削除指定
下記のデータ形式により指定して、データファイルの「情報」を」削除する

Erase
entries whose targeted data file no longer exists:
This
will be a commonly used option. It erases entries in the View Database
that reference any stock data files that no longer exist. We also refer
to these as orphan views.
Let's say some View Database entries reference data on a removable disk
(CD-ROM or "Zip" drive, etc.) and the disk is currently not hooked
up to the computer. In this case, Insider TA will assume the View Database
entries are orphaned and will erase them.
Delete Views by Path:
This is a handy cleanup method for erasing all View Database entries
that are associated with data in a specific directory. A window will popup
for entering the target directory.
Delete Views for Files Older than MM/DD/YY:
This method will allow you to erase View Database entries for data files
that have not been updated since a specific date (it queries the DOS date/time
file stamp). A Calendar Panel will pop up for entering the
date.
Delete View entries By Data Source:
This method allows Insider TA to erase all View Database entries associated
with data files in a particular data format:
