アスキー･フィールド･フォーマット･パネル　ASCII Field Formatter Panel

アスキー　ASCII 形式の株式データを使用する場合には、アスキー･フィールド･フォーマット･パネル（あるいは単にフィールド･フォーマット･パネル）に、所定の設定を行う必要があります。

イタは、株式データの　フィールド順　Field order　がどのような順序に並んでいても、柔軟に対応します。フィールド･フォーマット･パネルに指定した仕様に従い、データの読み込みを行い、またデータを書き戻す時にもその仕様に従います。

フィールド･フォーマット･パネルは、次の操作を行った時にポップアップします。

１） 株式データの読み込み　Loading や 株式データの更新　Data merging を行う際に、その株式データの フィールド･フォーマット　Field format が デフォルト（初期設定）アスキー･フォーマット　Default ASCII Format　と異なる場合、あるいは設定が ビュー･データベース　View Database　に保存されていない場合

２）新たに アスキー形式の株式データを作成する　Creating a new ASCII stock file 場合

３）アスキー･フィールド･フォーマット･ボタンを押して（上図）、デフォルトのフォーマットを設定、あるいは設定変更する場合

フィールド･フォーマット･パネルに設定された条件は ビュー･データベース　View Database　に保存され、銘柄固有の情報として使用されます。

ASCII Field Formatter Panel


The purpose of the Field Formatter Panel is for defining the input and output formats for all ASCII-based stock files. If you are using Insider TA Pro Version to load Metastock Files, TC2000 Files, or Quotes Plus data then you will probably not need to access this function.

Why do we need a Field Formatter Panel?

Typically, programs require that each line of ASCII data be constructed in an exact format, otherwise they won't be able to interpret what the data pertains to. Insider TA can load ASCII files whose data items (High price, low price, and so forth) can exist in any field order. The Field Formatter Panel is responsible for entering this information:



To define a field order, you compare a preview of the loaded data and then drag the column headers to their desired location. If a data type is not displayed in a column header, then right-click to pulldown a menu of available selections. Some data files you encounter might have special field header information. For these occurances, we recommend you check the box titled "Interpret lead line as field info".

The Field Formatter Panel pops up in response to the following conditions:

1) When loading or data merging an ASCII stock file whose field order is different from the default ASCII format, or is not stored in the View Database.

2) When creating a new ASCII stock file from scratch.

3) Clicking the "ASCII Field Format" button (for defining a default ASCII format, or redefining how you want your data saved to disk).

Other notes:

  • If an ASCII-based stock file is loaded, there will be a Reload button as shown in the above picture.
  • If binary data (Metastock, TC2000, Quotes Plus, Insider TA Demo) is loaded, there will be an Export button instead.
  • Information displayed in the Field Formatter Panel automatically gets saved to the View Database. 
