ファイル検索ユーティリティー　File Scan Utility

ファイル検索ユーティリティーは、予めセットした基準、例えば売買シグナルや株価のギャップなどの発生した銘柄ファイルを全自動で高速検索しリストする、現代の投資活動には不可欠の機能です。

画面下部の検索ボタン　 をクリックすると、次のようなウインドウが表われます。

検索の手順は以下の通りです。

1) フィルターの選択　Select a Filter:

最初に現れる画面、フィルター・パネル　Filter Panel では、フィルターを規定します。

フィルターとは、検索する基準を意味します。基準に合致した場合、その銘柄は記録されリストされることになります。

売買シグナルやプライスギャップなどが発生したかどうかなど、検索したい内容をここで指定するわけです。

2) 検索する対象の銘柄ファイル＝株価ファイルを選択する　Decide what you want to scan:

検索対象を規定するには、次の二通りの方法があります。

• 株価ファイルが格納されている「フォルダー」を、対象銘柄選択の区切りにして選択する方法で、複数のフォルダーを指定することも出来ます。ここで二番目のパネル パス検索　Scan by Path List へ移動し、予め指定しておきます。通常、この操作は一度行えば、フォルダーが追加されたり削除されたりしない限り、再度行う必要はありません。
  
• すでにイタで一度でも分析（＝株価ファイルを読み込む）した株価ファイルをすべて対象にする場合は、次の３）へ移動して下さい。
  

3) 検索開始　Request the scan:

検索を始めるには、パネル右下の「検索 "Scan"」 ボタンをクリックします。すると次のような検索オプション・パネルが表われます。

• ビュー検索　Scan by View
• 検索中止　　　　　　　　

スキャン結果はスキャン･データベースに保存される　Output goes to Scan Database:

スキャンが実行されると、条件の合ったデータの結果は「スキャン結果」ページに表示され、同時にデータベースに保存されます。このページには複数の　スキャン・データベース　Scan Database 表があり、フィルターの名称が付けられています。

前回のスキャン･データベースがある場合additional scanning options　What if a Scan Database exists from a previous scan?

この場合には、次のようなウインドウが表われ、選択を促します。

●上書きせよ　Overwrite the table

前回の結果は削除され新たに今回の結果が示されます。

●追加／更新せよ　Add-to / Refresh the table

前回の結果は残され、新しい結果は追加されます。また、現存のデータベースには新しい結果が追加されます。

●新規に名前をつけよ　Redirect to a unique name

新たな名前が自動的に提案されます

●キャンセル　Cancel　Scan　Request

スキャンを中止します

The three tab pages are:

・The Scan Processing Panel is where you create Filter Sets by configuring items in two sub-panels labeled "Preprocessing" and "Filter".

・The Scan by Path List: �This is where you identify what stocks to scan.

・The Scan Results: �This is where all scan output is written.

Running a scan involves the following steps

1) Define a Filter Set:

The tab page that's always shown first is the Scan Processing Panel. �Use this area to define what you want the file scanner to do.

2) Select what you want to scan:

・If you are interested in files that reside in one or more DOS paths, then you will need to advance to the Scan by Path List tab page.
・If you simply want to scan everything that Insider TA has already processed, that is, all stocks that are currently in the View Database, then skip the Scan by Path List page and proceed directly to running a scan (step #3 below).

3) Request the scan:

Click the "Scan" button. �A window similar to the following will appear:

The options provided in this window are asking if you want to run a "Scan by Path" or a "Scan by View". �It is the terminology we use to describe the options listed in step #2 above.

Output goes to Scan Database:

As a scan runs, stocks that pass are immediately deposited into the Scan Results page, which holds one or more Scan Database tables. ��The name of the output will be the same as the hosted filter name. �So if you request a scan that utilizes filter "BAOPT", Insider TA will want to write the scan output to a scan database also named "BAOPT". If the scan database by that name already exists, then Insider TA will present you with additional scanning options.
