ボックス・グループ化 Box Grouping

データを2から20の任意の数でグループする機能です。

例えば5でグループすると、週間区切り相当の市場値動きを分析することになります。20では月間相当になります。

イタの週間、月間というカレンダー区切りではなく、連続した任意の区切りができることが特長です。

Box Grouping

In the science of Box Charting, some prefer to avoid the day-to-day fluctuations in a stock's movement by instead looking at a "bigger picture". One way Insider TA handles this need is through its smoothing utility, a method that simply plots boxes against its moving average data. Another method, preferred by some analysts, is not to apply averaging, but rather to "group" multiple stock entries into a single entity.

Insider TA can box-group from 2 to 20 box entries into a single box.

For instance, you can group by 5's, and effectively analyze daily data as weekly data, shown here...

Here are some aspects of how to use it...

・When a stock is shown in the viewport, click Ctrl-G on the keyboard (Control and G key together) to enter any group value between 1 and 20. Values 2 through 20 enable grouping, and 1 turns it off.
・Each and every view can have it's own box grouping value, and they all get saved into the
View Database.
・You can configure Insider TA to
box-group automatically for all new stock loads.
・The
File Scan Utility has a "Group By" switch in it's Preprocessing section. This allows you to subject targeted files to a desired box grouping value. For this reason, box grouping values previously stored in the View Database (which can vary with each stock) are ignored by the File Scanner. In other words, all stocks subjected to the scanning process are treated with the same box grouping value, as set in the Filter Panel's "Group By" switch.
