長期の分析を行う場合や、日々の更新で株価データの期間が長くなるにつれ、チャートの全容が グラフ･ビューポート Graph viewport 内に収まらなくなることがあります。
ビュー･ポート･コントロール･パネルはチャートをスクロール、ズーム、拡張、縮小などの操作を行い、チャートをビューポート内にうまく収めるためのものです。
マウスの左ボタンで矢印を押したままにすると、画面が移動します。希望の位置に移動するよう操作します。左右の移動については グラフ･スナップ Graph "Snapping" Feature 機能で両端にジャンプさせることができます。
アニメーション調整スライドは、ビューポート･コントロールのスピードを調整します。左へスライドすると速く、右へスライドすると遅くなります。コンピューターのスピードによりアニメーションのスピードも変わりますから、適当な位置に調整します。

As
your data history increases with each new entry, it will not be long before
your graphs are unable to fit entirely in the graph viewport. The key to viewing Insider TA's graphics
center on the ability to alter, on demand, the visual proportions of the
graphed boxes. Our objective is to configure the box chart so that fat
boxes
are
distinguishable from thin boxes.
The Viewport Control Panel has controls that let you pan (that
is, scroll), zoom, stretch, and compress the graphics in any way that you
like. The control panel can be made to "float" in a separate
window (Figure 1), or affix itself to the Insider TA main program window
(Figure 2) if sufficient space is available.
The
components of the Viewport Control Panel are as follows:
Viewer Pan Buttons
Viewer Pan
Buttons are illustrated as arrow-heads. When they are clicked and held
down with the LEFT mouse button, the viewer window will scroll in the indicated
direction until the mouse button is released, or the end of the graph is
reached.
During scrolling, you will observe that graphics move in the opposite direction
that the arrow illustrates (visualize the viewer window scrolling over the
graph)...
Rather than scrolling your graph, you can also instantaneously move the
graph with the RIGHT mouse button (refer to the Graph "Snapping" Feature.
Viewer Stretch/Compress
Buttons
LEFT clicking
and holding performs the action of EXPANDING the box chart in the illustrated
direction. RIGHT clicking and holding performs the OPPOSITE action of COMPRESSING
the box chart in the illustrated direction.
Viewer Zoom In/Out
Buttons
LEFT clicking
and holding performs the action of zooming IN closer to the chart. RIGHT
clicking and holding performs the OPPOSITE action, i.e. zooming OUT, causing
the graph to appear farther away.
Frame Animation Speed
The Animate
Speed Adjustor, located at the bottom of the Viewport Control Panel,
is a slide-tab for adjusting the Frame Animation. Sliding the tab towards the
right will direct the viewport to take large steps between each successive
frame in the animation process. This results in the animation effect to
advance rapidly (at the expense of appearing choppy).
Conversely, sliding the tab to the left will cause the graphics to take
smaller steps between each frame update. The result will be a slower animation,
but the overall effect will appear much smoother.
