パス検索リストは ファイル･スキャン･パネル File Scan Panel のなかの一つのページです。このウインドウでは検索（スキャン）したいファイルを パス DOS path により指定するものです。
複数のパスを指定することができます。
スキャン（検索）の対象が ファイル･エントリー･パネル File Entry Panel に表示されたパスによることが多いことから、下図の選択窓を利用して指定するのが便利です。
パス追加ボタン "Add Path" や、ファイル･エントリー･パネル経由でパスを指定しても、表示されるだけで、まだ有効ではありません。このような

" （チェック）を入れて、始めてスキャンの対象になります。
検索は一つのパス検索リストのみを対象に実行されます。
そこで、複数のリストを別ページとして作成しておき、必要に応じて選択するのも有効な方法です。
その方法は、ページのタグ（名札）の部分を「右」クリックして、下記の選択肢に従い操作します。

Scan
by Path List
The
Scan by Path List is a tab page in the File Scan Panel. This window allows you to
identify specific files you want scanned according to their DOS path.
Using the "Add a Path" button, enter as many paths as you
like into the Scan by Path List. In the above example, three paths
have been entered:
C:\TC2000\DATA\B\*.NDX This targets
all files in directory "C:\TC2000\DATA\B" and ending with an "NDX"
extension (which, incidentally, is path to TC2000 Version 3 data files).
C:\MS\XMASTER This is a
Metastock entry. In
this case, we have entered the path to the "XMASTER" file that
identifies all the data in directory "C:\MS\DATA\".
C:\STKDOWNLOAD\*.CSV This targets
all files in directory "C:\STKDOWNLOAD" and ending with a "CSV"
extension.
Picking from the File
Entry Panel:
Besides using
the "Add a Path" button, there's another (better) way for
adding to the Scan by Path List. Since the paths you'll be scanning
are probably the same used in the File Entry Panel, the following pulldown menu
will be very helpful...
Enabling
the paths:
When you enter
a path (using the "Add Path") button or grabbing them from the
File Entry Panel, they will appear in the list "unchecked". Only
entries checked (shown with a "") will be processed
by the scan. Toggle the checkmark by left-clicking the box next to each
entry.
Managing your Scan
By Path List(s):
Only a single
Scan By Path list can be processed by the File Scan Utility. However,
you can create more than one list.
If you have multiple Scan By Path Lists (in the above picture, there are
three: LIST1, LOTS, and METASTOK), the scan utility will use the one
that is currently visible. In the above case, this will be the Scan
By Path list in tab page "LOTS".
Right-click the blue tab area, and a pop-up menu will appear with the following
options:
Popup option What it's used for...
Add A new Scan By Path list (blank; no entries) is generated.
Copy A copy of the clicked Scan By Path is generated (you must right-click
an existing Scan By Path list tab to have access to this function). Insider
TA will copy the name of the list as well, with a number appended to make
it unique. For instance, copying "LOTS" will create a new Scan
By Path list named "LOTS1", "LOTS2", "LOTS3",
and so on.
Rename Used to rename an existing list name (you must right-click
an existing Scan By Path tab to have access to this function).
Delete Used to delete an existing list (you must right-click an existing
Scan By Path tab to have access to this function).
Insider TA automatically saves all Scan By Path lists.
