パス検索　Scan By Path

検索ユーティリティー　File Scan Utility で設定した検索を実行する際に、検索対象のファイルを規定する方法の一つです。（他にビュー検索　Scan by View　があります）

パス検索では、パス　Paths　（ディレクトリー名と　ファイル・マスク　File mask　により構成）を指定して、特定のファイルを規定する方法です。

例としては　Ｃ：￥ＩＴＡＷＩＮ￥ＤＡＹ￥＊．ＤＡＹ　が一般的ですが、ここで

ディレクトリー名は　　Ｃ：￥ＩＴＡＷＩＮ￥ＤＡＹ￥

ファイル･マスクは　　＊．Ｄａｙ　

となり、ＣドライブのＩＴＡＷＩＮというルート･ディレクトリー内の、ＤＡＹというサブ･ディレクトリーの中に格納されているファイルの内、拡張子「．Ｄａｙ」が付いているファイル全て（＝＊）、が対象となることを規定しています。

規定は複数行うことができます。希望のパスをいくつでも　検索パネル　File Scan Panel　を経て　パス検索リスト　Scan By Path List ウインドウに入力します。

Scan by Path

This is one of the two methods that the File Scan Utility uses to pick files to scan (the other method is Scan by View.

The SCAN BY PATH function allows you to identify specific files that you want scanned by entering file paths. �Paths are the combination of a directory name and file mask that points to a cluster of files by the way they are named. For instance, to scan all files ending with a "TXT" extension in directory "C:\MYSTOCKS\ASCII", the following path would target these files...

C:\MYSTOCKS\ASCII\*.TXT

The above path (and as many as you like) are all entered into the Scan By Path List window. �This window is accessed by clicking the "Scan by Path" tab page in the File Scan Panel.
