ストップロス Stop Loss と トレーリング･ストップ Trailing Stop 機能は、 BA および VA によるトレーディング･シグナルを補完する、非常に有効な機能です。ＢＡ／ＶＡによる通常の売りシグナル（逆張りの場合は買い戻しシグナル）を待たずに、損失をなるべく少なく、利益をできるだけ伸ばすシグナルを出すものです。手仕舞いがいかに難しいかは、経験豊富なトレーダーは良く認識しています。前もってテストされ、最大の見返りをもたらす設定値で自動的に手仕舞いシグナルを出す、専門家しか使わなかった機能です。
ストップロス/トレーリング･ストップは、コンフィギュレーション･オプション･パネル Configuration Options Panel の「ストップロス "Stoploss"」ページで設定します（下図）。
以下に、設定の例を示します。設定すると、順張り、逆張りいずれにも作動します。
外部からオン、オフを行なう Toggle "hotkey" (CTRL-S):
「CTRL-S」を押すことで、ストップロス機能を入れたり、切ったりすることができます。
ストップロス・タグ Appearance of stoploss tags:
- ＢＡによる仕掛けには、グリーン色の矢印
（順張りの場合）あるいは
（逆張りの場合）が表示されます。
- ＶＡランクによる仕掛けには、紫色の矢印
（順張りの場合）あるいは
（逆張りの場合）が表示されます。
逆張りには各々上向きの矢印に変わります。

TA supplements its BA
and
VA trading signals
by offering Stop Loss and Trailing Stop signaling. They are designed
to maximize BA and VA RANK yields following their respective buy and/or
sell tags in the event the price falls a significant amount before the appropriate
sell and/or buy tag can take effect.
As
shown above, three number spinner switches (all represent percentage values)
are used to set up the desired stoploss/trailing-stop mechanism...
・The red switch (set here to -10%) defines the desired stop loss level.
・The purple switch (15%) identifies your targeted profit (used for the
trailing
stop
mechanism).
・The green switch (70%) is the percent savings factor once the target profit
is achieved (also a trailing stop parameter).
So that you do not get confused with each one's purpose, they are integrated
with explanatory text to make them more communicative. Clicking the "Show
Stop-Loss/Trailing-Stop Example Button" (in the software, not here!)
will provide a more descriptive example.
The settings you choose are automatically restored the next time you run
Insider TA.
Enable Stoploss/Trailing-stop Mechanism:
This switch toggles the Stoploss Mechanism. When disabled, percent
yields are calculated exclusively from the buy and sell tags generated by
the BA and VA RANK functions. In this mode, all the stop loss number
spinners
will
begrayed-out, indicating their values are not used anywhere.
"Show Stoploss/TrailingStop Example" button:
This button is enabled only if the stoploss button discussed above is
set to ON. It pops up a detailed discussion on how the current number spinner
settings are used in calculating possible stoploss or trailing stop signals.
Toggle "hotkey" (CTRL-S):
Striking Control-S (Ctrl-S) on the keyboard at Insider TA's "base
level" (that is, when no other windows are active) toggles the StopLoss/TrailingStop
mechanism on/off. Without the Ctrl-S key stroke, the only way to toggle
this feature would be to access the Configuration Options Panel.
Appearance of stoploss

Stoploss and
trailing stop tags, either for a BA or VA RANK tags, appear as simple arrows,
as shown below. Note that their color matches their function's color (BA is green;
VA
Rank is purple):
Tag... What it represents...
Stoploss tag that protects a VA Rank BUY tag in a conventional
"buy-then-sell" sequence (that is, a long investment).
Tags of this type will be generated only if a VA Rank SELL tag doesn't occur
first. Also, you must include "Longs" in your yield calculations.
Stoploss tag that protects a VA Rank SELL tag, for the purpose
of protecting a "sell-then-buy", or short investment.
Tags of this type will be generated only if a VA Rank BUY tag doesn't occur
first. You must also ensure that you include "Shorts" in your yield calculations.
Stoploss tag that protects a BA BUY tag in a conventional
"buy-then-sell", or long investment. Tags of this type
will be generated only if a BA SELL tag doesn't occur first. You must also
ensure that you include "Shorts" in your yield
calculations.
Stoploss tag that protects a BA SELL tag, for the purpose
of protecting a "sell-then-buy", or short investment.
Tags of this type will be generated only if a BA BUY tag doesn't occur first.
You must also ensure that you include "Shorts" in your yield calculations.
Like other tags in the viewport, they can be clicked with the mouse to obtain
information about them.
