Calculated
Data
Calculated data used in the Box Analyzer (BA) line and the VA Rank line can be
displayed in the Data List Window. This is achieved by accessing the
"Output" option in the top menu bar, then checking the line labeled
to "Show Calculated Data".
In additional to stock data (Date, High, Low, and Volume) the following
output is provided in the Calculated Data Window:
Events Graphical icons that depict buy and sell tags, split events,
and other special considerations unique to the hosted line of data. Clicking
the icon with the mouse will pop-up a help window.
Box # Identifies the entry number (the topmost entry is box #1).
MP Midpoint = (High + Low) / 2
MPM Midpoint Move = MP(today) - MP(yesterday)
VARnk VA Rank
value.
xMP Moving average
midpoint, where "x" reflects
the red "MOV AVE" number spinner value. For instance, a column
title of "10MP" will be displayed if the "MOV AVE" number
spinner is set to 10.
xBA BA average
value, reflecting the average of BA values over "x" number of entries, as
specified by the green "BA AVE" number spinner. For instance, a column title
of "13BA" will be displayed if the "BA AVE" number spinner
is set to 13.
+/-x This column
identifies the current setting in the green "BA TAG" Number Spinner,
and marks consecutive advances or declines in BA data points. For instance,
a column title of "+/-4" will be displayed if the "BA TAG"
Number Spinner is set to 4. A "+" identifies x-consecutive BA
advances ("BUY" is used in place of the first advance). A "-"
identifies x-consecutive BA declines ("SELL" is used in place
of the first decline).

Pulling
down the "Jump To" menu in the toolbar lets you quickly advance
to locations in your data. The following options are available:
Option to jump to... What happens...
a Specific Date A Calendar Panel pops up to enter a desired
date. The list will then advance to that location.
a BA signal Advances to either a BA Buy (), BA Sell(), or BA Stoploss () event.
a VA signal Advances to either a VA Buy (), VA Sell(), or VA Stoploss
()
event.
a Local Note The list will advance to the next line holding a Local
Note.
a Global Note The list will advance to the next line holding a Global
Note.
a Suspicious Date The list will advance to the next "suspicious"
date that was detected from the auto- Date Check function. These instances are tagged
with a .
a Stock Split The list will advance to the next stock split (these events
are entered by you, via the Edit Data Panel). Normal stock splits are
tagged with a and reverse stock splits are tagged
with a .
a Transaction The list will advance to the next buy, sell, or dividend transaction.
